05 honda crf450 oil?

when you go to the dealer to purchase the oil, just ask them. 4 stroke engine oil, is about 10W30. and the amount would be about just under 1 litre. sometimes it is stamped on the engine case, how much oil, in cc's.

Carb need adjusted

this is an idle mixture screw
screw it all the way in then count the turns as you screw it back out. aprox 2 turns.

then if you can get it to idle,
as you screw it in 1\4 -1\2 turn it should start to richen and miss. as you screw it out 1\4-1\2 turn it will lean out and the revs increase and be uneven. then pick a place between the two where it idles best
a 1\4 of a turn can make a difference, and it will change slightly with a dirty aircleaner and hot or cold engine

How to adjust the idle nob on a 2002 crf 450r. the

The reason your carburetor overflows is not from an incorrect adjustment, but because the float valve is hung open by dirt or some other foreign debris. Turn the petcock off, then locate the drain screw on the bottom of the bowl and drain the fuel out. Then turn the petcock on again - and check for overflowing. If the overflow continues, the you will need to remove the float bowl, the float and float valve - clean each and reinstall to fix the problem.

I ran my 2005 trx450r low on oil it shut down and

hi,if you have run the bike low on oil, then there is every chance that you have siezed the motor,at the very least you will need to replace the piston and rings, also it is very likely that the bore has been damaged, that will also need to be repaired(it will be a nikasil coated bore)and they are easy to damage and expensive to repair.the crank will(at the very least)need to be removed and inspected,as siezing a motor will have possibly scored the crankshaft and damaged it,there is no point in putting the engine back together and running it on a damaged crank,as failure will be immenent and you will have to do it all again, sorry about this but it is going to be expensive and it makes oil very cheap insurance by comparison...hope this helps...cheers

Raidiator fluid coming out of the overflow

I would check your head gasket if it is not overheating. Sounds more like its overheating to me. Check to see if your radiator is plugged up and your fan is working. Check coolant level and thermostat. Maybe your lucky and find its just your radiator cap.

How do i remove the rear shock spring from my 2004

Put the bike on a stand supporting the bottom of the frame. Remove the seat and sidepanels. Loosen the clamp on the carb to airbox boot at the rear of the carb. Loosen the muffler clamp, remove muffler mounting bolts and pull muffler. Remove the 4 rear subframe bolts. Remove the rear subframe (leave airbox and rear fender assembled in it). You are now staring at a completely exposed rear shock. Remove the shock mount bolts and remove the shock. Measure the spring adjusted length for a future starting point when the spring is put back on. Loosen both spring pre-load adjuster spanner nuts all the way. Helps if you clean the dirt off the threads and use a little lube. Pull the spring towards the spanner nuts and remove the clip ring at the opposite end spring holder. that's it.

06 CRF 450 that went under water, not getting fuel to plug

Chances are the air filter is extremely wet. Air can't get through a wet filter, and if no air can flow through the carb, no gas can flow through either. Remove the filter and try again to get the engine started. I assume you drained and cleaned the gas tank already. If still no joy, remove the carb and clean it using spray carb cleaner. Remove the air screw and throttle screw and spray into the screw holes as well as all the little drill holes in the carb body. The object here is to clean out the pilot jet and idle circuit. When re-assembling the carb, put the air and throttle screws back in and turn them inward until they LIGHTLY seat. Now open each of them up one and one half turns. This is the factory setting. Please rate my answer.
