You should have a pressure chart under your seat to tell you. Normally, about 3 to 5 psi extra on rear bias ply tires. 0 to 3 psi on both radial tires.

I think you are correct. Take the petrol tap out of the tank and clean the filter and any inline filter as well, if there is one.
Hope that fixes it.

Can you tell me how to remaove the front mud guard

FOUR BOLTS HOLD ON THE MUDGUARD, THESE NORMALY SIEZE, THE LOWER ALEN KEY BOLTS SIMPLY UNDO IN A NORMAL DIRECTION, THE UPPER 2 BOLTS CAN BE A PROBLEM, AS YOU TURN THE BOLTS, THE FLAT PLATE NUT ON THE INSIDE WILL SPIN IF THE NUT IS TIGHT, AS THE NUT HAS SHARP EDGES WHEN IT TURNS IT WILL POKE A HOLE IN THE TOP OF THE MUDGUARD B CAREFULL, IF THIS IS THE CASE REMOVE THE FRONT WHEEL, AND GRIP THE FLAT PLATE NUT WHILE TURNING THE OUTER ALUN KEY BOLT. GOOD LUCK

8000 mile service for honda vfr800 vtec motorcycle

The bike should be serviced every year even if mileage has not been reached. If your bike is 6 years old and has only had it's 600 and 4,000 mile service it does really need to be done. Coolant and brake fluid require changing every 2 years, if you have been missing this I recommend you get it done. By 8,000 miles you could be looking at worn tyres and brake pads depending on how hard you ride. service would be 2.5 to 3.5 hours and cost about £50 an hour plus vat plus parts.

Maybe a missfire bt not sure

Hello coxdarren198,,,The problem with the VFR is most likely improperly synced starter valves...the wrong air/fuel mixture then causes the 02 sensor to react and so forth and so on. The factory settings are not right... if they are i have yet to see one.
Starting...lower RPM cruiseing and and throttle response will improve when the settings are correct.
Hope this helps and will fxya up....
Ride safe and ride smart.

Pull the cover and see if you applied too much gasket maker which could be blocking your oil drain back holes. IF that is the problem you risk/risked trashing the engine because too much of the limited supply of engine oil was stuck in the cover instead of moving around in the rest of the engine.

Did you check the power regulator? It can 'collapse' under a load, while it looks perfect when measuring the resistances. Does your rectifier have cooling fins?
