There is a crankcase plug just above the water pump hose, it is either not installed right or the o-ring is bad. You have to pull the water pump hose off to see it, but the plug simply twists and comes out, or if it loose try twisting it the other way and the leak will stop.

If this problem happened right after you put it on the fuel reserve and forgot it was on reserve and ran it down to almost nothing, then Yes, this could cause this because you picked up some junk in the bottom of fuel tank which in turn has most likely clogged or partially clogged your fuel filter. What I would do, is replace fuel filter and put some fuel cleaner additive that you dump in your tank, and it will help clean carb and lines. This should solve the problem within a few miles of driving it after it works through the system. Thanks mike from fixya.
2000 honda shadow engine has lite tick
If you are also experiencing some popping in the exhaust when you decelerate, you probably need to replace the copper o-ring style crush gaskets between the header pipes and the cylinder heads. If they are leaking or allowing air into the exhaust it can cause a tick sound. If the sound is deeper in the cylinder you may have a bad oil pressure style valve adjuster(It's not putting the valve back to zero tolerance the way it should) or the automatic cam chain tensioner is going bad on one cylinder(more of a clacking sound). At any rate , start by doing the cheapest fix first (exhaust gaskets) It is fairly easy and might solve the problem.
My bike is a 2000
this accutaly happents to me, after many checks and check here what the mechanic found, on carburator and am assuming you have one, the diafragm is torn, and need to be replace if you are mechanicaly incline you can do this remove tank and carburator, the diafragh is part of the intake manifold remove it and you'll see the diaphragm, is a 5 buck part, now if you were like me with no mechanicaly know how it will cost you any where from 500, to 1000 to fix this.
SOUNDS LIKE CRICKETS WHEN ACCELERATING
You have hydraulic lifters on your motorcycle. The lifters have either gone flat and need replacement or you are not getting adequate oil pressure from your oil pump to make them zero tolerance correctly. If it sounds like all six valves are flat consider replacing the oil pump first. It would run about $60 per lifter or $160 for an oil pump. Deciding which lifters are bad is the hard part. You may want to check your oil to see if it has been diluted with gasoline from a stuck float , stuck float valve,or leaking fuel petcock. Oil diluted with gasoline might cause the lifters to go flat. If you continue to drive with diluted oil it could cause serious/expensive damage to your engine.

My horn does work
There is a list of things that might be wrong, your going to need a test light to make it ezer. start at the fuse box and make sure that it is good. if so go to the other end ( the horn ) with your test light check and see if the horn is getting power if so your horn may need to be replaced or adj. First try to adj. there is a small screw on the back of the horn you can turn while pushing your horn button. if no luck replace horn.
If you don't get any power hit the middle ( LH handle bar switch ) check for power into the switch if so check power out. NO power in you fault is between switch and fuse .IF power in and not out your switch needs R&R. IF power out but not at the horn well then check your wire between switch and horn
Good luck
