Unless it is inspected to see if the drain plug has a bad cross thread the fault cannot be confirmed.
What can be done is to remove and fix a new washer to plug the leak , tighten so that the washer fixes the oil seep.

The big chrome side cover, underneath the rear cylinder head, is attached with a bolt at the bottom and two small clips hidden behind the inside of the top of the cover. Sometimes they come loose and fall off and then the case rattles off the engine block. Just put your finger in behind the chrome cover and swivel one around and you'll see what I mean! There should be one on either side I hope this helps!:-)

sounds like battery has a cell down and drains over time

remove carbs and rebuild completely, old fuel builds shellac in needle valves and other ports. clean float valves thoroughly, and check choke for proper operation

The running light should go off when the turn signal is operating. Makes it more visible. Otherwise, sounds like a bulb. There are two filaments in the bulb and one may be out.

replace fan control sensor in radiator (on bottom)

probably just a bulb. It has a dual filament. One can go out without the other being affected.

Remove screw, then remove lens. Push bulb in slightly and turn about 1/4 turn to the left (counterclockwise), and pull out. If bulb is a dual (two) element bulb, when replacing, it wil line up only one way. If it won't fit, turn 180 degrees and try again. Reassembly is reverse.

red to red, black to black, etc, yellow to any other yellow.
