How do you drain 1995 150 six carbs
The easiest way, if it still runs, is to fire the engine up with the fuel switched off. Otherwise it can be done by removing the carbs from the manifolds and turn them on their side to drain them.

If there is rust in the tank,I would recommend a tank and a whole new fuel system line and filter.Also,the fuel tank will need flushing because the new 'green' ethanol junks up the whole system if sat for more than 4-6 weeks.I would probably at least have the carbeurator checked out.Ethanol does more harm than good to all the seals and rubber components.Labor alone from all that could be $500 probably more.I would call a bike shop and ask them about it to get a more specific $ amount.You also have to consider that if the bike was run with rust in the fuel tank,as small as the particles may be and even though there is a filter,if any particles got past the filter,they could carve grooves inside the engine.It mainly depends on the condition of the filter but if he isn't sure when the rust developed there is no way I would personally spend $3k on it.Good luck! How to bleed hydrolic master
there is a bleeder screw on the cylinder. Either pump up the clutch until it get's hard, then while holding clutch in, crack open the bleeder screw to let out air and some fluid for 3 seconds. Tighten it back up, do everthing again. Repeat 3 times. You may also use a power bleeder to do this.

It is frustrating to stop an oil leak if you don't find the correct source of the problem. This might be due to poor valve and cover gaskets.The back hole might have some sludges or became restricted due to improper choice of oil and due to lack of oil change.
Replacing ignition switch
Do not listen to your dealer, if you can ride or trailer it, just go to your local locksmith, he will be able to cut you a new set of key and will cost less than the dealer, the fit still pretty good usually.
Other way is to have noted the key indicator number from your key-cylinder and ask the dealer to get an original factory key (normally an authorised dealer have a book that describe how the key are shaped to fit a particular key-hole in a bike) this process is abit expensive but sure fit.

There are many users facing this problem.This happens due to heat of the sun falling on the display of the bike.When it gets over heated after certain period of time it starts getting this half moon mark.In some cases this mark cleared out after they left the bike in a cool area for day or two.where no sun rays or light can enter.
In other cases they need to replace the whole display as its got burned and also not working.

look at the top of the left pannier there is a small black knob at the back under the top box pull it up and your top box should open if that dosnt work remove the lower panel under the top box look at the levers at the top of the linkage there is a metal bar pull it down and your box will open.

There is a service manual available that might help you it is a '96. http://www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp . I was of the opinion that this model has a manual electric fan that you have to operate, remembering that they are built for cruising, not cities. there is definitely not going to be any damage, but not operating at optimum capacity.
Hi, I have a 1995 GL1500 and it has a slight light
Does the noise stop when in neutral with the clutch handle pulled in? If so it may be normal. I have a 1999 Honda Valkyrie (has the same engine setup as your wing) and it is noisey with the clutch handle released at idle, but the noise goes away when the clutch handle is pulled in.
Another thought.......Have you recently adjusted the valves? If not they may need adjusting.

My top trunk latch will not open when I pull the
Done the same thing ! you need to use a very thin hex key ( does not bend ) put some tape or rag around the shaft so the trunk lid is not damaged or scratched, and try to force key into either left or right latch and move it sideways to release, then swap to other side. you may have to add a small amount of pressure with a flat screwdriver on the released lock to prevent it locking again while working on the opposite one. YOU are trying to release the hook in the lock. once done you will find a small rod from the release button has not been in place.
