1993 HONDA CBR 900RR US IMPORT.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Misc to Model category. (W)ater (D)isplacement formula (40) is great for water intrusion, but possibly too late. Relays have 4 contacts if it is a relay and can be tested. It may be an electronic module though. like the ECM or a BCM if it has one. https://www.google.com/search?q=relay+testing+procedure The appears to be two relays, one for high beam and one for low. https://www.fireblades.org/threads/wiring-diagrams-93-95-98-99-900rr.57231/ Hope that helps.

Bike was running fine all

your battery is dead you can recharge it with a 12 volt battery charger. you could also jump the bike with another bike or a car. if these two solutions aren't possible because you don't have the necessary equipment or whatever you can bump start the bike by pushing it (works best down hill and/or with buddy's help) hoping on with the key in the on position and shifting into 2nd gear and dropping the clutch. be careful and goodluck

How do i check a stator on my motorcycle?

Get yourself a multimeter, On the side of the motor you will have wires coming out, follow it the plug, unplug it. you'll need to set your meter to the ohm setting. you'll have three wires of the same color ( yellow or white) check and see if any of the three wires are grounded if so bad stator. if not, set your meter to ac and check the ac out put of the stator. if you getting ac out put your reg/rec. is most likely bad.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Does anyone know about fuses. I have a 1993

sorry that didnt help...i found my 30amp fuse connected right into the starter relay...the fuses look just like the usual ones....on my old 87 cbr it is located under right hand cover..close or near to battery housing...follow the red wire to see where it runs off to. On my bike the fist thing it runs into is the starter relay with a nice big 30ampere fuse on it....i havent worked to see if their are others because i went through my print and thats seems to be it. Can you describe your exact starting propblem...i my be able to suggest a few things....need recent maintenance reports! later and hope to get it running.

How much oil I have to put inside the engine??

Most 900-1000cc sport bikes require 3.8 qts depending if you are also changing the oil filter or not (which I would recommend also if you do buy the filter pay the extra few $ for the Honda oil filter wrench that comes with the filter, it makes the allot easier and also works on all Honda models as well as most other model bikes with that style oil filter...but remember only a quarter turn past hand tight or so should do the trick, you don’t need to go crazy)...If you are not changing the filter it will take a little less...most likely around 3 qts depending oh how much is trapped in the oil filter sill

Buy 4 quarts. Put 3 in and run the bike for about a min or two at idle to let the oil circulate as well as heat up and expand. Then shut the bike off and let it sit for another 5 min, then if needed have a friend hold the bike upright or do it yourself if your confident (but don’t him or sit with weight on the seat or bike or it will affect ride height and in turn oil level)

Then add oil as needed, to fill it to just under the top of the 2 oil marks (leaving a little room for the still cool oil to expand)

Then make sure everything is clean and your oil drain bolt is tight and take it for a small 5 min test ride...then check the oil again.... and you should be just where you want it

On off throtle driveability problems over 5-6000

I had the same problems w/ CBR. I replaced the plugs, fuel pump, and rebuild the carbs. Solved it. Each one of these things can cause the issue you are having, and it being a 93 model, chances are it is time to do all of this.
This should take care of it man.

Hi I recently jump-started my bike

Might try removing or disconnecting the alarm to see if you have tripped an anti-theft circuit on the bike. If you have then you'll need to refer to your owner manual or local Honda dealer. If the bike works fine without the alarm then I would reset the alarm. I found the manual on Google pretty quickly

Will the fairing and tank from a 1996 fireblade fit a 1994 fireblade?

There was a facelift model in 1996 so the fairings are slightly at the front as different as Honda came up with the fox/tiger eye headlights. Other than that, they look very similar including the tank. The support bracket which holds the top fairing on might be different. If you're buying these parts off the internet, I'd contact your local Honda dealer first as you could be stuck with these parts if they don't fit.
