Tube hanging from bottem of bike

Most likely a drain tube for either battery, or most likely the drain for any spilled fuel when filling the tank. If you overfill the tank the excess fuel should be directed beneath the bike by a drain hose connected to the filler spout.

Replace the front brake master cylinder viewing window 2008 Qlink Legacy 250

Looks like part #14. http://store.qlinkmotor.com/p/fr-master-cylinder?pp=8 If you can find a dealer in your area, they may be able to order one as well. Some other master cylinders may work, but you would need to find one for a single-disc, 2 piston system that also has a mirror post (best I can tell for your model).

How to change gearbox oil for CF Moto V5

Most modern motorcycles don't have separate gearbox oil. The gearbox is lubricated by the engine oil hence the reason for regular oil and filter changes to be made following the manufacturers recommendations.

Charging system 2009 Qlink Legacy 250

There is a recall on this - I just took mine to the dealer and they took the gas tank off and had to replace a wire . Might want to check with your dealer..2009 legacy 250 owner..

Type of gear oil

Use 10w40 motor oil. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell.

Bike starts but doesn't stay running what can be the problem

when were the spark plugs checked or changed last ? when you go for a run does it run ok , is it only stalling on tickover ? if not running ok then try plugs then if no change clean the carbs and fuel system !

The batter was hooked up wrong and it blew the main fuse on the starter relay solenoid. I replaced the fuse and the lights worked but still wouldn't even try to crank. So I replaced the solenoid still

hi there dennis it could be the main ignition fuse not just the relay or you may have burnt one of the earth leads through ,but it would be worth checking the main fuse block cheers

Changed battery now no electricity

Hi I am Vortash .. this may seem like a silly question but I have to ask .. are you sure you connected the terminals the right way round ?. You would be amazed to how many people who text back and say oops no .. lol.. if you did then just check the earth strap if it was loose when you put the new battery on you may have disturbed it and it is not contacting properly .. clean and tighten ..regards Vortash ..

QLink Frontrunner where do you change gear oil in rear end

Typically most gear drive motorcycles use the same type of system. There will be a small bolt either 8mm or 10mm or a Phillips head . That will be at the bottom of the gear case just below the rear axle. Remove the bolt and let it drain. There should be a smaller screw or bolt of some sort above the axle. That will be the " weep " hole. Once you finish emptying the gear box. You re install the drain plug and fill the gear box through the weep hole. You fill it til it starts to come out past the threads. That is the correct fluid amount. Re install the weep hole plug and you're good to go. Louder exhaust, increase the performance???

Once you remove the baffles, you remove a certain amount of back pressure and this will cause you to have to let you warm up your MC until it is at working operating temperature. Also by changing your carb and air box will giive you more power but it will stay be a few minutes to warm up. I have to do it with mine and it is bad if you need to run right away then keep the throttle on a little more then normal. Or sometimes I will leave me choke on

I bought a used 2006

Hi cindy...sounds like your mechanic is not very competent. Your bike should not be boiling over.
It is possible that when he replaced the thermostat and refilled the cooling system that he did not bleed or purge it, as it's called. What that means is there is an air bubble trapped in the cooling system and it gets circulated around with no way to escape.

Your gauge is there to monitor the coolant temp, you have to trust it. After riding your bike and then shutting it off, the coolant temp will go up briefly before it starts cooling down simply because the coolant has stopped circulation through the engine, this is normal, but never should it **** ot boil over.
Now that you have it rode it a bit & it belched it may have burped the air out of it. I would check all the fluid levels again cold,(full cold levels) and go for another test ride. From there we can determine if this was the case. Make sure you have a 50/50 mixture of coolant to water mixture, too much coolant & not enough water will cause it to overheat.

you can get a battery charger from most canadian tires or automotive parts retailers. a car battery charger is what you need. you can do a trickle charge for the best results on it. its 12v.
