derbi gpr125 E2racing 54reg indicators went off/lights/ sorted loose wire possibly when i jetwahed it? has'nt started since, except when i got lights/indicators mended started, bike and it just revved up so high had to turn engine off or else blown up charged battery"YUSA" and cleaned fouled spark plug any help would be much appriciated y.p.v.s went off now sorted whirling sound back working. THANKS JUSTIN.

Your engine is gone. Sound or not it's dead.,

Wrap the wire round the Ht lead two or three times, it induces a signal to the Rev Counte, the wire does not have to be bare or connected to anyting other than wrapped around the lead..

Ground (negative) cables are usually black

If the bike only run when choke is on you may have have a plug metering jet. Small jet located in the carb body near the main jet.Jet could have unscrewed from carb due to vibration.

If the engine is turning over, then the battery is probably ok. I would suggest put the choke on and crank it over. If it does not start, then hold the throttle wide open. If it gets flooded, then this will allow enough air to level out the fuel. When an engine is flooded, it is best to hold the throttle all the way. The bike should start. If not you might spray a small amount of starting fluid in the air filter then start the engine. Don't use too much starting fluid. Just a small shot.

I know you said you cleaned the carb, but maybe something got in the carb when trying to start the bike. Because it sure sounds like you have a clogged pilot jet.

What state is the battery in? Fully charged? Did it work before the overhaul? Check your wires again from top to bottom

Use a airlift or comparable coolant system air removal/refill system.You attach the unit to the coolant system filler and it vacuums all air from the system,then you use the supplied hose to return the coolant into the vacuumed system.This fills the system with just coolant and no air.

probably getting water in the electronics and shorting out take it to a service dealer and see if there is a weather proof system that can be fitted spray the areas with silicone spray or use crc liquid wax to seal off water affected electronics

feel around and under the edges of the seat and there will be a tag that you lift/press to release the seat

Visit two-stroke engine a four stroke one cylinder to cylinder four cylinders if you need to measure the borer and the bike is a part just use calipers or just look it up online
