Adjust primary chian
The primary chain adjuster is at the bottom of the engine below the shifter - looks like a big nit in a shaft that has a allen key hole in it. loosen the nut and turn the bolt. Adjust per the manual.
Ignition fuse blows. If I remove the Ignition
The fuse blows because of the amount of current being drawn through it without a proper ground. When you install the fuse there is a rush of electricity being pulled through the relay to power the ignition and POP goes the fuse. If you Put the relay in with the key off It probably doesn't blow the fuse.
Bike was running great went
Check your fuses, does the engine light stay on? If so - bad ECM, if not - check your coil if it passes the ohm tests them check the crank trigger just above the oil filter behind the round plate that has the two rivits in it.
Surging
sounds to me like it has a accelorator pump issue, have it checked out, but that is my 2 cents
Transmission Stuck
I ended up replaceing my left footpeg and shifter that I broke off in the fall I previously wrote about. When I was taking the shifter linkage upper screw off it cause the transmission to shift from the torque. I suppose it happened a couple times as I was looseining the bolt. I believe that would have been an upshift. Now that I have it back together it wont shift. It is stuck in a high gear. I hope I did not really screw something up. Any ideas on what happened or what I should do. you should try jumping on the shifter.
This will sound stupid on my part but have you tried rocking the bike back and forward while apply pressure to the shifter this seems to help on my bike to get into neutral,,,
My 2005 Buell Blast wont start
Try these checks. First you can't check compression by listening to an engine. With the ignition OFF sit on the bike as normal with the kick stand up. Put it into First gear, release the clutch lever and try to roll the bike forwards about a bike's length. If the bike rolls less than a shoe length then refuses to roll that is good compression on the engine.
Black smoke out of the exhaust suggests there was too much fuel being sent to the cylinder. If it is cranking and trying to start it suggests it is still a fuel issue. This time possibly not enough fuel. Check the fuel filter is clean. Replace it if your not sure as they are not normally expensive to buy.
Check the air filter as well. A dirty air filter can affect the engine more than you think. Try these checks and use the comment button below if you need more help.

My buell wont go into gear.
Does it feel like the clutch is working properly but when you put it in gear A doesn't go anywhere?
