Front headlamps not projfcting enough light onto

Is the headlamp glass clean? if not clean inside & out
Otherwise try using a bulb with a higher wattage, if this is no brighter then not enough charge is getting to the headlamp. Check cleanliness of all connections. If still not bright then try an uprated (or heavy-duty rewired) alternator

Good Luck
Hope this helps.

Electrical problem

then the bike would not turn no at all (no clicks) then the bike would turn on but would shut down when I put it first gear (yes the side stand was up) now everything seems to work unless I flip on the high beams then the turn signals go out again or the bike doesn't turn on etc.. The problems seems to cycle through all these over and over again. Am I screwed?Sounds like it's time to invest in a new battery, or at least see if the old one will accept and hold a good charge. That should at least solve some of your problems.,,,

Runing lean

has good power and I got a great deal. I just ordered the Clymer manual (3-5 days delivery) so I am posting here to see if you folks have any quick suggestions. I noticed that the engine has a slight backfire/sputtering on deceleration and would take a while to warm up so I was thinking that it was running a little on the lean side. There was also some minor bluing on the exhaust. I took the plugs out last night and they appeared to be fouled. They were coated with carbon (not wet oil). Now I was thinking that it might be running a little rich. I cleaned the plugs and re-gapped at .0035. The engine seemed to warm up quickly but the it was still sputtering a little when downshifting and decelerating. What do you think this is? yeah backfiring while decelerating or downshifting can mean that you are running a little rich. I adjusted the idle screws on my bike to make that problem go away. Makes sense since as you slow down you normally release the throttle to virtually closed anyway... I havent had that problem since. Except now I get backfiring while riding at highway speeds... methinks my carbs are being flooded and the float levels need to be adjusted.,,,

Benelli velvet 125 fuel problem

it sounds like a fuel flow problem, either the carburettor float is not adjusted properly or it may have a blocked fuel filter, these also use a pneumatic fuel pump so its fuel is pumped using the vaccum pulled by the inlet manifold,so check the fuel pump pies have no splits and they are fitted tight .also try running it with the fuel cap loose or off to see if its pulling a vaccum in the fuel tank causing an air lock and stoppibg the fuel flowing.

Wards Riverside Battery assistance

have you ever started the bike before? do you know what it sounds like when it turns over, last resort if someone else doesn't answer, find a 6v bat that fits in the housing, as long as your not cranking for more than a couple of seconds you'll be fine and it will give you an idea of whether or not the bat you got is in the range of amps required by how fast it is spinning the bike over. but remember no more than a couple of seconds unless it sounds like its turning over at a normal rate. best I can give you sorry.

Plug burn black color.everyday 4to5

Your fuel mixture is set too rich. You need to adjust it so that it burns leaner but you don't want to make it so lean that the bike has overheating problems. That should also smooth out your acceleration. If you have a dry clutch, check for oil contamination on the plates. If they're contaminated address what caused it and you may be able to re-use the plates after soaking them in gasoline for a while to remove the oil. Good luck and safe riding.
