1. • 1 Remove the rider's seat, using an Allen socket to unscrew the pair of bolts that secure the rear of the seat to the frame. Lift the rear of the seat upward then pull the seat toward the rear of the motorcycle to disengage it from the frame's catch tabs.
   • 2 Remove the pair of bolts that secure the front of the gas tank to the frame. Lift the fuel tank upward on the pivot at the base of the tank. Support the fuel tank against the frame using the tank's support rod.
   • 3 Remove the air box. Pull the three air hoses from the air box. Loosen the clamps on the air box's rubber boots with a screwdriver, and pull the air box out of the motorcycle.
   • 4 Pull the four coil packs out of the motor's cylinders. Clear any dirt and debris that has accumulated on top of the cylinders with compressed air, directing the air into the spark plug holes that the coil packs were installed in. Remove the spark plugs using a spark plug socket attached to a socket extension.
   • 5 Install new, properly gapped spark plugs into the motor with a spark plug socket. Tighten the socket until it is seated firmly against the motor. Reinstall the coil packs onto the spark plugs.
   • 6 Reinstall the air box, tightening the clamps on the rubber boots to secure the air box to the throttle bodies. Reconnect the trio of air hoses to the air box.
   • 7 Remove the tank support rod and lower the fuel tank onto the frame. Insert and tighten the fuel tank bolts with an Allen socket. Reinstall the seat, firmly tightening the mounting bolts with an Allen socket.

Sounds like the starter motor has engaged and then stuck out. Either take the starter motor off to make sure it is fine and then reassemble. Or if your feeling brave, I'd try putting it in gear and then push the bike forward/backwards to see if the starter motor returns to it's original position. Then retry to start it with the electric start switch.

Start by checking the starter button. It is a two function switch. It turns the headlight off and activates the solenoid. Try cleaning it , some disassembly may be required. If it is broken you may have to change the right switch assembly to fix the problem. If the button is good I would next start checking the wire connections for the handle bar switches , Normally located in the head light bucket or behind the headlight the problem could be as simple as a loose power wire.

What do you mean by "Midway"? How old is this motorbike? What exactly did you do to clean the carburettor? Is it a new spark plug and a new, clean air filter? Did you empty the fuel tank to remove the fuel tap to clean the filter on the inside of the tap? Is it doing anything else? Things like - is it hard to start, has heavier exhaust smoke or it has a rough and uneven idle.

Question edited for a lot more clarity. BTW it isn't a Moped because it doesn't have pedals 'Motorised and Pedal operated - 'mo ped'. It is a Scooter. Here is your service manual. Check all connectors for corrosion, check fuses and grounds on the lights. It may be a voltage rectifier issue. Probably need a good electrician.

What EXACTLY is it doing to make you think it isn't getting fuel? This model does not have a separate fuel filter. The fuel tap on actual tank, (the petcock), has a gauze filter built into it inside the tank. These can sometimes clog up over time especially if it's had bad gas through it or it's been stood for a while. When was the last time the Carbs were serviced? This could be as simple as a dirty fuel jet or a dirty/worn needle. If your going to clean the gauze filter make absolutely sure the tank is empty BEFORE you remove any fuel lines or the petcock. I found that an old, stiff bristle toothbrush works well to clean the gauze.
