This could be two things: 1. A stuck throttle grip. With the bike off and stopped, twist the grip and see if it snaps back into place. If it stops, but you can "push" it back into place - you have a stuck throttle. It's not idling. It's stuck "on". 2. Adjust the Idle. Typically, there is a little daisy wheel next to the throttle grip and you can turn it left / right to adjust the throttle.

Either a carb float is stuck open or some trash is holding the float needle open. Remove the float bowl and use spray carb cleaner to remove any trash, or varnish, ( from evaporated fuel ).

Have you tested battery voltage? ideally looking for 12.5v min. If voltage is ok next thing to check is the cranking voltage drop, if it's very low battery problem!

The Power Steering has failed. There has been a factory recall for a suddenly failing electrical steering shaft, that could cause the rider to loose control. This does not have to be your problem but anyhow either the electronics or the pump failed. Check the wiring, especially the engine earth lead.

On the bottom of your speedometer on the left side there is 2 buttons press the far left one for a couple of seconds and the light should go on
