Sounds like your ratchet gear is mis aligned, when you put the ratchet gear together it has alignment marks that have to line up when you insert it back in the case...The kick shaft being bent slightly should not prevent the engine from turning over. I hope this helps.

You need to most likely have the TPS checked (set at full throttle not running 4.85 volts) and or CDI remaped at dealer

hav batt tested for health-if good test alternator n regulator for output--inspec carb for cleaniness or out of ajust

Remove the feed pipe to the injectors and you will be able to drain the fuel, but you will have to use the ignition to do so.
The other way would be to remove the feed pipe to the pump from the tank, this way you will be able to remove the fuel without the ignition.
