ok first you got to find the link that takes the chain apart after you do that loosen the bolts that hold the tire on if you cant do that you can use a breaker bar or put a pipe or on the end of you rachet that will give you more leverage. then sloed the tire forword so you can undo the chain and slide tire off

Question edited heavily and to add maker. Question moved from Cars and Trucks to model category. This is a 4 stroke engine and gasoline doesn't freeze, only diesel goes syrupy. The most likely reason would have been condensation and damp causing the spark to short out. Another possibility might be old gasoline? Engines only need three things to run Fresh clean fuel. Sounds like you have clogged or semi-clogged main jets in the carbs. You will have to remove the carbs and open them up to get to the jets. Remove the jets and clean them. Make sure you can see thru them before re-installing the jets.

How about the anti-theft system and immobilizer? Did you disconnect the battery recently?

The pick-up module located on the stator is on its way out. That is normally the symptoms right before they stop working.

hi not sure if its a old SOHC with the 900 upgrade or a very early DOHC 900 because 1980-1981 was a change over year when they did away with the SOHC 750 - 900 and brought out the DOHC 750 - 900 the main issue with the okd single overhead cam was the oil ways get blocked up and starve the cam of oil eventually the came will eat its way into the head normally the the end of the cams you might need to seek a new head or reconditioned one if you can find one the DOHC has the same issue just not as much good luck

You will want a 1/8 to 1/4 inch free-play at the perch on the handle bars.

Turn the screw all the way in, then back it out 2 turns. That should be a good starting point.

I think on the CTX models it is a fixed seat so you will have to find all the bolts and screws that hold it onto the bike frame. It isn't designed as a 'lift off' access seat. Most of the access to fuse panel, battery (Right side) and air filter (Left side) is through the side covers on the bike. These covers are held in place with a single bolt/screw and swing out and down to remove them.

The 99 cbrs have a zenner diode in the ignition switch that runs to the pink wire, which reduces the power from 12v to 9v(the amount needed for the fuel pump to run,) it's a safety thing Honda did so people couldn't just hot wire it.if that is broken, it won't start.

is the starter slow at turning if so you probley have a problem with the battery or starter soleniod or statermotor my guess is that the battery is on its way out get a load test done on it

moved yah out of cars to MC cranks ok , not told cranks and not starting is check fuses first. 125cc you meant sure, engine size TINY./ 68 plate jargon means zero outside UK, are you.? MC all have a real year. the VIN code on all ours USA back to 1965 has year code. I owned 1965 honda and suzuki x6 then. as a punk. we cant see you starting it and hearing it ,at all we can only dream it or ESP it. and I fail.
