1998 Honda Shadow Spirit VT 1100 started spitting and sputtering changed coils, plugs, and wires/ No change.
There are a number of issues that can cause a motorcycle to spit and sputter, including problems with the ignition system, the fuel system, or the engine itself. Since you have already replaced the coils, spark plugs, and wires, it is likely that the issue is not with the ignition system.
Here are a few other things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
- Check the fuel system: Make sure the fuel filter is clean and that the fuel lines are not clogged or damaged. Also check the fuel pump and make sure it is functioning properly.
- Check the engine: Look for any visible signs of damage or wear on the engine, such as leaks or broken parts. Also check the engine's compression and make sure it is within the specified range.
- Check the exhaust system: Make sure the exhaust system is not clogged or damaged, as this can cause the engine to run poorly.
If you are unable to find the cause of the problem after checking these items, it may be necessary to consult a service manual or a professional mechanic for further troubleshooting.

Why is my 1980 Honda CB 900 dying when it gets hot?
hi
not sure if its a old SOHC with the 900 upgrade
or a very early DOHC 900
because 1980-1981 was a change over year when they did away with the SOHC 750 - 900
and brought out the DOHC 750 - 900
the main issue with the okd single overhead cam was the oil ways get blocked up and starve the cam of oil
eventually the came will eat its way into the head normally the the end of the cams
you might need to seek a new head or reconditioned one if you can find one
the DOHC has the same issue just not as much
good luck

How do i remove the seat on a honda bushlander ctx 200 ag bike
I think on the CTX models it is a fixed seat so you will have to find all the bolts and screws that hold it onto the bike frame. It isn't designed as a 'lift off' access seat. Most of the access to fuse panel, battery (Right side) and air filter (Left side) is through the side covers on the bike. These covers are held in place with a single bolt/screw and swing out and down to remove them.

Ignition wire diagram for 1999 honda cbr 900rr
The 99 cbrs have a zenner diode in the ignition switch that runs to the pink wire, which reduces the power from 12v to 9v(the amount needed for the fuel pump to run,) it's a safety thing Honda did so people couldn't just hot wire it.if that is broken, it won't start.
