you most likely wont start it without a key, if it has a factory immobiliser the key has a transducer in the base of it that activates & deactivated the immobiliser when it is put in or pulled out of the ignition switch.......hope this helps.....cheers

I think the temperature sensor and the coolant fan switch are two different sensors. One tells the temperature and passes it to the ECM which passes that information to the gauge, the other works via a relay to turns the fans on and off. A fan spinning freely is not a test. That's not good! Water is coolant, but you mean antifreeze. Did it push out the freeze plugs? Any cracks in the block or cylinder head? If the battery went completely flat or you removed it for charging, you will need to reset the security system and immobilizer. The computer is reset purely be the act of disconnecting the battery, waiting a few minutes and reconnecting it. Do you mean registering a 'Drive Cycle'?

I just had the same problem. When the seat is powered all the forward, one of the worm drives reached the end of its travel and jammed against the threaded block that it passes through. To fix this the seat has to be unbolted and tipped back. There are four tiny 6mm bolts that hold the motor plate in. Remove these and the motor will come out. The worm drive is bolted in at one end and has a set pin at the other. Remove the worm drive and use a couple of vice grips or equivalent to loosen the threaded block from the worm drive.

Look for a black plastic box about 4 x 6 inches under the hood, usually near the battery. This houses relays and larger fuses. the underside of the cover will identify purpose of each element. there are test procedures for fuses, use alligator clips and a battery charger for power. the contacts can be tested with an ohmmeter.

the thermostat is on the drivers side, right above the starter, follow the lower radiator hose to where it connects to metal pipe, there is one bolt holding it to the engine, near the oil fill up, unbolt it and pull it from the thermostat housing, 3 bolts hold the housing to the engine, remove the top of airbox and hose and move out of the way, the sensor is one of the two electrical connectors you have to disconnect

When the check engine light comes on it automaticly turns on the trac and vsc light, diagnose your check engine light to fix the vehicle.
