How can I tell if its the switch or motor that's bad in a 2000 Toyota Avalon sunroof?

After checking fuse, relay, and battery level, off the top of my They do in my car if I have a bad window motor. If the lights didn't dim I would pop the switch out and use a multimeter to check for continuity between switch legs Really no surefire way to know without getting eyes on that switch.

If engine disassembly is required that involves removing the camshafts or timing gears, set the #1 cylinder to TDC compression, wipe away any oil, and mark the following items in relation to each other prior to disassembly: • Timing gears • Timing chain • Timing chain No. 2 NOTE This relationship MUST be maintained. 1998 toyota Avalon back door won't open from inside or out

The door panel has to be removed even if the seats have to be removed or the panel has to be destroyed. One thing that might help is to remove the panel from the opposite door so you can familiarise yourself with the geography of the door internals. It might then be possible to blindly manipulate the faulty door internals working through the gap created just by releasing the rear of the panel...

I have a problem opening my 2000 Toyota Avalon's trunk. I can open the trunk using the button on the dash but not with my FOB. The FOB works for the doors but just not the Trunk.

Have you took your fob in to be tested. They can test it at automotive places , usually free. It will tell if it has power or not then possibly replace the battery. Or may need a new fob all together. Might have to order one from a Toyota dealer.

Hi, have a toyota avalon, tried starting the car , it won't start, but then the starter engaged and won't turn off evenwithout the key, disconnected the battery and it stopped , when the batte

It sounds like you have a bad actuator. This is attached to the starter and has a solonoid that pushes the starter motor gears into the engine gear. If the solonoid is faulty this may happen. Also check alignment of the same.

I have a 2000 toyota avalon and the woofer speaker

I bought a refoam kit from Midwest Speaker Repair - found them on eBay. Cost $23.50, including shipping. Had it in two days. Very easy prep and installation. I think the subwoofer sounds better than new, but I could be wrong. Best way to go. Worth every penny.
