How do I check the fuel pressure on a 2000 model mazda millenia with a 2.3 engine in it

have a fuel pressure test done. Run fault codes and look for a can purge valve/ solenoid fault.

try changining the #3 fuel injector.

This sounds like a fuel delivery problem, I would start with a fuel pressure test.

Mazda fuel filters are usually found underneath the back seat. At least that's where mine was. I have a Millenia. Good thing back seats are easy to remove.

It's in the truck under the carpet will say around plate remove it and should be two bolts on filter

did you check the starter ? the Maf sensor can cause the problem

Need more info. Could be fuel pump pressurizing. You should turn ac to off position before shutting down the engine, it causes strain on engine start and premature compressor failure.
