What make , model an year vehicle ? What codes were pulled , if any ?

this is a coolant indicator light. it could be low coolant in the system or the sensor is bad.

Intermittent faults rob years from our lives!!! I've rather a root canal to intermittent fault isolation!! Chapter 11 of Murphy's law reminds us simply checking various spots will cause the fault to disappear until you really need to go somewhere.

Could be a loose or dirty connection so check the fuse box, even if the fuse look good remove clean it and replace. Hopefully you can easily get to the back w/o removing the entire panel. Change the bulb.

Finally is it is a current year model let the dealer do it, should be covered(or not disallowed).

Iuse to have an 82 720 pickup i still have the manual but it shows no picture shows the wireing schematic i could fax you that if it would help you but i seam to remember that is under the dask near the fuse box not in it . Its with the hazard unit if that still works turn that on and you should be able to hear that and that will lead you to it . If not there are 15 fuses in the box the flasher is the forth one up from the bottom its feed by a yellow and red wire that comes out of the back of the box and the hazard is the forth fuse down from the top of the box also feed by a yellow and red wire . they bolth have two terminals and are rectangler in shape with matlic cases on them .If you want the schematic give my a number to fax it to

hi, this is the warning for low coolant level it may need topping up so check this before your car over heats, over heating can cause the head gasket to go witch would cost thousands to get repaired.

94 is all I have. 91 should be similar. Also, look in your owner manual.

red or yellow? your description sounds like a low coolant light.

The fuse is located near, but not within the main fuse box. (took me 5 years to figure that out...haha) The main fuse box is the one that is shaped like an upright rectangle, containing most of the fuses for the car, and concealed by a cover. Don't bother with the main fuse box...

Look immediately above the main fuse box, and you will see a uniquely shaped fuse holder, containing, you guessed it, the cigarette lighter fuse.
The fuse holder should say "20 Cigar" on the cover. The cover actually swings open from the bottom. Just grab it gently between two fingers and give it a tug, it'll pop right open giving you access to the fuse.
