I put a short ram intake on my corolla S 2014 now I take off bogs out real bad and my idol is really messed up why

by "ram intake" do you mean a cold air intake? Possibly a Vacuum leak. a large vac leak.. Check everything you did for misfits, loose clamps, broken hoses, hoses not installed properly, wires disconnected, if you find no problems replace your "ram air" with the stock components. If the problem goes away its your "ram intake" if the problem is still there you have one of the above listed problems. Best possibilty you did not reconnect the Mass Air sensor, or large vac leak

Surging idle 2003 nissan altima s

I think you have an air leak, a vacuum line loose, or possible intake manifold gasket leaking, maybe your big air intake hose is leaking. spray carb cleaner or soapy water around mating surface of intake and on vacuum lines and connections. If idle changes, there is your leak. good luck.

Location of knock sensor on a 1996 Nissan Altima GXE engine?

The knock sensor is underneath the intake manifold on the rear of the engine.
If you got an engine check code from Autozone or some other goof ball company like that go and get a full tank of the highest quality gas and see if that fixes the problem.

I have a 1994 nissan altima gxe, the car runs fine but when the temperature gets normal it kills? what could that be?

DO THE FOLLOWING TO CLEAN THE AUTOMATIC IDLE SPPED CONTROL VALVE AND THROTTLE PLATE.

I want you to get a can of intake cleaner (ABOUT $5.00) from any local auto parts store like NAPA or Carquest, do not use carburetor spray, intake cleaner only or u will damage the Teflon coating inside the throttle valve and air bypass valve, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

My 96 altima has a rough idle problem.

Sounds like you could have a vacuum leak in the intake manifold due to a faulty gasket, spray the gasket down with parts cleaner, csee if the idle smoothes out if it does you have a bad manifold gasket.

1998 Altima GXE has a code of P1491. It was

Code P1491 is not the PVC Valve. It is the Vacuum Cut Valve Bypass Valve.
Which is located above and away from the egr canister under the driver side rear bumper it is round and have about 3 hoses connected to it. if it is from a check engine light that says look at vacume cut valve check the egr canisters purge valve some times they stick and throw the wrong code

2001 GXE Shaking & Shutting Off

you have a intake gasket that's broken. take some carb cleaner in a spray can and as the car is at idle, spray the carb cleaner at the injectors and listen for change in engine idle. spray it especially by the air intake tube/#4 cylinder. it will get nice and smooth. very common problem on a altima your year. its not a job for someone, that doesn't really work on cars. the job per "alldata" pays 6 hours. it will take a lot more, if a novice is doing the job. so to sum it up, you have a intake gasket leak, where the intake bolts to the cylinder head.
