I have a 2003 chevy blazer. I am getting a p0303 cylinder 3 misfire. I have changed the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. It has 130,000 miles on it with a new tranny at 100,000. When I go up hill,...

The code means the cylinder is not producing power, which is not always an ignition problem.
It could also be a faulty injector, or something mechanical.

How replace spark plugs on a 2004 chevy blazer

Do you have a code scanner? What code does it give? If you don't have a scanner and the car is drivable take it to an autozone and have them hook it up to the scanner to get the code or you can buy a cheap scanner for $50 if the blazer was not running rough before you may have not pushed a plug wire on completely and now the engine is misfiring on that cylinder. how many miles on blazer? the platinum plugs from should be good for 100K miles.

What are the parts you need to do a tune up ?

A basic tune-up would be spark plugs. Make sure you use a/c delco plugs! A major tune-up would include plugs, wire, cap, and rotor. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

I have a 1998 Chevy s10 blazer that is running ruff and shaking and bad smell from exhaust like sulfur. When I step on gas black smoke comes out of exhaust. There are no codes when hooked to code...

Check the spark, it should be blue, if it is yellow than you need to check your ignition system, coil, spark plugs, spark plug wires, dist cap, rotor ect.
Black coming out the exhaust is unburned fuel, when you have the spark plugs out do a compression test.

Where are the spark plungs located on a 2004 trail blazer

ON TOP of Engine there 6 Coil Units the SPARK PLUGS are under them, and they Require a 10mm Socket or Wrench to remove them, once the BOLT is out PULL OFF the COIL and there is a Rubber BOOT that ALSO Requires Replacment Along With The Spark Plugs.
the Spark Plugs are DOWN INSIDE the HOLE.

Changing spark plug

If your calling the steering shaft the handle bar.you need to put tthe socket on the plug first then use a wrench that will fit the hex on the out side of the socket to fist loosen it tne it will be easier to turnwith a rachet or just by your fingers. If it's the plug i'm thinking of it is a pain to change.
