It depends on the failure. If the circuit to the intake air temperature sensor is open, it most likely will start but it may not run or idle correctly because it will cause the computer to go into failsafe mode. If the circuits to the sensor are shorted together or shorted to ground it could affect several other sensors and cause all kinds of problems including a no-start condition.
The Intake Air Temperature sensor in your vehicle is built into the Mass AirFlow sensor and could affect the operation of the Mass Airflow depending on the particular failure. Mass Airflow sensor problems are a common cause of no-starts.
