oil pressure sensor probably needs replacing or is getting blocked, could also be the sensor wire loose or contaminated, this will help you locate the switch https://youtu.be/J5aFqucuP4U
If the light is on due to the needed oil change, then the light needs to be reset. What year, make and model do you have? Some are as easy as turning the key to the "on" position,( but not starting the car), then depress your gas pedal 3 times , the light will blink, then turn key off, and finally, start your car. Again, there are different ways for different cars, so without knowing you make, this may not work.
Once the rock hit the oil pan and the oil light came on it should have been turned off real soon. If the engine went dead before you turned the key off, it may have seized and has damage. Put a socket onto the crankshaft nut with a breaker bar and see if the engine will turn; if it turns easily it may be ok, but if its hard to turn or does not turn, the engine is seized and most likely has damage.
Not to scare or offend you but it could be many many things. It does help that the check engine light is on, though.
If you can go to a place like Autozone, where they check your check engine light for free, and post what the code was, I can give you a place to start.
I do not mind helping you further with a proper diagnosis procedure either, if you can share your vehicle information.
I would have the front brakes checked and from what you are telling me you may have a warped rotor I do not know how many miles are on the car some cars have a reset after the oil change has been done to turn off the check engine light but if it keeps coming on take it to autozone and they will put it on a tester for free and then you will know what needs to be done
