P0513 is "Invalid Skim Key" The key may have damaged programing and if that is the case the dealer maybe able to reprogram that key for you (if you have 2 keys, both keys will have to be reprogramed so that they both match. Good Luck).
P0522 =Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Low Voltage.
Possible causes
- Low oil level or motor mechanical fault
- Open or short oil level sensor circuit condition
- Poor oil level sensor electrical connection
- Faulty oil pressure sensor
I had that same code "p0513," on my 2004 dodge Durango. Let me explain how it happened. I lost the original key that came with my car form the dealer. I went back to the dealer and they program a key for my car; two years latter, I was coming from work and I stopped at the gas station to get gas, after filling my dodge Durango with gas, I got in the car, as soon as I started the car it went off after running for only few seconds. I attempted to start it again, but after three tries it could not start at all. I called a towing company and they towed my car to the nearby dodge dealer. I explained what had happened to my car to the dealer. The dealer said, "well, let take a look at your car." After taking a look at my car, the dealer said, I will need a new blank key to be reprogram, and I will also need to change the "body control module" because too many keys had been programed to my car. To avoid the same problems it is good that we change the body control module, "said the dealer".
I asked the dealer, How much will it cost? He replied, $968.42. Woo, woo.. I replied, this is not cheap, it will cost me the total of $1136.42 just to get this code "P0513" fixed. I had no other option but to allowed the dealer to fix my Dodge Durango.
