Saturns don't take freon, they take 134a refrigerant. Locate the low pressure port. Start the vehicle and turn the air conditioning on high and recirculate. Attach the hose and hold it upright. As you add the refrigerant alternate the top of the can from the 12:00 to 3:00 of 9:00 position.

2000 GMC Yukon air conditioner how to replace and what do I need to do

How have you deemed that it is a faulty "air conditioner", and not an AC system that is just low or depleted of Freon and needs recharged? If it is truly a bad AC motor/pump, we are talking about recovering the Freon from the system, which is complicated and requires training in its own, and then replacing the physical part, and then recharging the system accurately and properly.
Typically something better left to trained professionals and not made for the DIY home mechanic.

How many cans of freon to fill a 1997 gmc jimmy

You can not use Freon to recharge your a/c system - refrigerant 134a is required. If the system is empty, 1.75 lbs of this and 9 fl oz of PAG refrigerant oil for the HT6 compressor is required.

HOWEVER, this is not normally a DIY project. Without first checking various internal system components and properly and completely evacuating the system, you are wasting your money and you may ruin the system. There are top-up kits available, but the refrigerant/oil ratio is critical and without a full system check, using them is unwise.

How do I recharge me ac in a 1998 dodge strartus 4 cyc.?

My first suggestion is to be sure you're low on freon. You will need to have the system evacuated, vacuumed and than recharged. This is not for the typical DIY. However if its just a bit low you can go to the local parts store and purchase a can of freon with a gauge in it to show you when you're at a proper fill. I've been a tech for 16 yrs and they work nicely in a pinch. Hope this was helpful.

How to recharge ac

For DIY folks, you get a recharge kit from an auto parts store and connect it to one of the ports on the ac line.
Instructions come with the kit.
Keep in mind freon gas is about 30 degrees below zero coming out of the can.

How do i recharge my ac on my 2003 sequoia

DIY people can buy a kit at the parts store and add a can or two if the system is just low.
The kit is a gauge and hose that connects to one of the service ports on the ac line and takes the cans of freon.
Freon gas is about minus 30 degrees coming out of the can.

Please show me the line where I recharge the freon on 96 geo metro. I can't find the low side

Typically the fitting on the recharge kit will only fit on the low-side line. Here is a good website that explains the recharge process:

How can i tell if my condenser is bad

Well the average DIY can't verify a leaking condenser.
You would need a black lite if using dye in the system or a sniffer to sniff for the freon gas.
I would get a second opinion.
