My driver side window stopped working. I had the window resetter ( or something like that) fixed cause my window fell in the door. After that it sounded like something was dragging against the glass when it went up or down. Then it stopped working. When you hit the button it will move not even a half inch then stop. What could be the problem and how much will it to fix? Is it also easily to fix?

Sounds like the power window motor has failed. You can get this part with or without the window regulator. It's like $20 cheaper to get the motor without the regulator but way more complicated to replace. If you heard a rubbing sound after the first time something could have been left untightened. If it hasn't been too long maybe they will warranty it for you, but the part at your local store was less than $100 when I did one a coupkle of months ago.

Why did the driver side window fall in the door?

Hi, Its likely not the window regulator. Something could have come apart or broke where it attaches, but you will have to take it apart to find out.

Window fell down driver side on a 2004 dodge dakota so whats the problem

Hello,
Something caused the window to come out of the track. Some times it can be caused by something hitting the window, sometimes hitting a big pothole.

If you're a little bit handy, you should be able to remove the door panel to access the window and put it back on the track.

I hope this helps.

2003 Chevy Malibu driver's window won't work

If it is a very loud noise, then it may be the window regulator. This is the assembly that the motor and glass bolt to. The door panel would have to come off to inspect.
