You didnt put the noise supressor back to it's grounded loacation that it came from. You took it off and didn't even realize it. Back track your steps and you will find it. It's a single black wire with a little square box on it.

WHY DOES MY 2004 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR HAVE EXCESSIVE RADIO STATIC ON AM?

As suggested it could be underhood electrical interference. If the "static" changes with increased rpms (rev the motor to find out) chances are it is ignition related and could be literally everything from the alternator to the ignition coil through the distributor cap, but best bet is the spark plug wires (which if still original really should be replaced anyway) or the plugs themselves. If your am static doesn't change with engine revolutions and your fm works okay I would check antenna and the antenna connections at the base of antenna and back of radio. if you cant even get a clear signal on the most powerful AM station in your area, I would bet on some kind of break in the connection between radio and antenna. p.s. if you;ve anything plugged into cigarette lighter or other 12volt outlets in the vehicle unplug them before doing any of the rest!

How do you fix missfire on cylinder 4 on 2001 s-type jaguar

If you have Individual COP Ignition Coils, then
replacing the bad coil or several coils, if necessary,
should resolve the issue with misfires

You can not just expect the PO304 code to be cylinder
number 4 with the misfire

It may be this time & it may not be,so you need to have it
checked with the proper test equipment

That said, if the car isn't drive in hot weather & at least
20 miles, they may not find the problem or just throw parts
at it, & take your money

Just a couple of things to keep in mind

Your car & some fords have similar issues, as ford
once owned & stole some jag technology.

I have a 2001 jaguar s type 3.0 liter and i replaced the ecu module and the vehicle doesnt start . is there any setting or resetting i have to do fo it to start thanks

First thing to determine is if your ecu module ,has the same hardware, software references as your original ecu.If this is the case, and you havent changed anything else, like keys or ignition switch or immobilizer, then it should start!
If ecu doest have same references, you need to have it coded by the dealer,so that it works with your immobilizer.
