I have no dash lights, tail lights, or parking lights... I checked all the fuses and they are all good... I hooked a power line up to where the fuses belong and all the lights work when i turn on the key switch. My dash lights don't work yet... I replaced the headlight switch and the problem still is there.

U.S. Focus?

You have at least 4 fuses in the Battery fuse box under the hood to check, plus the ones in the dash panel fuse box. Did you check them all in both places?

I am working on a 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara the taillights and dash lights do not work I have checked all the fuses and connections that I can find any ideas thank you

id bet not. checking fuse by eye is the wrong way,
bad looking sure, are bad but good looking fuses can infact be bad.
we use a voltmeter, it never lies.
the fuse is marked, TAIL, its really parking and all dash illumination lights (dimmable too)
fuses can in fact hair line crack. a fact

if not the fuse, then its the parking system lights failure.
this system is huge, all side lights , front park, tail park
and cab., the FSM factory sevice manual covers this as does
the alldata.com pages, log in and see a real schematic.
see how park happens. from the knob to the lamps.,
some have a relay. on newer cars its works,, one computer tells other to tune on the park relay, be glad that is not your car.
eg: comm errors.

No tail lights

no (park -tail-running lights) is dash parking lamps glowing?
check the tail fuse yet?
94 accord
this circuit is huge, park/tail, up to 20 lamps. are all dead>?
front park, side park, tail park and dash lamps all out.
this i the red-blk feed. all comments , USA, as lighting varies by country. (laws)
license plate light dead too????????? that too is park
there is NO RELAY.
the fuse 32 feeds the HL (head light) switch and in PARK posistion
it feeds 12vdc raw power to all 38 lamps. (side corning lamps, etc)
the license plate lamp is key, there are 2 lamps.
and both probably are not out.
so if they are good lamps and both tail lamps are good and fuse
then they must glow, if one lamp shorts as 1156 or the like love to do
then it blows the fuse. as does the trailer jack (option) .

so fuse 32 park/tail blown
or HL park switch bad, if all 20 odd lamps dead. and fuse holds.
that simple, and this cars wiring is very simple and nice.

No tail lights or inside lights or radio????

Often times the tail lights and dash lights are powered by the same fuse. The reason for this was so you would know that your tail lights weren't working if you didn't have any dash lights. I would look for a fuse that says "Tail" or "Courtesy". Your owners manual should have an illustration of the fuse panel and what circuits they power. Good luck, hope this helps!

95 riviera dash lights or tail lights dont work

You probably have an open/blown tail/park lamp fuse. The dash light fuse gets power from the tail/park lamp fuse, so when you can't see your dash lights, you'll get the vehicle looked at and find you have no park/tail lamps either. It's a safety feature because otherwise you may never know your running lights are not working.
Check your park/tail lamp fuse.

98 ford windstar no dash and tail lights

you have to check all fuses with a test light both fuse boxes under hood and under dash... if good next to look for is the light switch itself... has any radio work been done to the lately... if so alot of times hooked up wrong will blow park fuse as one of the wires to radio is the park voltage to tell radio to dim down some
