Hi I own a 2004 Envoy wondering if anyone could help me out here, when I turn on the AC the car shakes and feels like it loses power and the car shuts off automatically. But that's not all even if I turn it on without the AC really on the car still does it only if the air comes out through the front windshield, and yesterday I tried turning the back wiper on and it looked as if it had no power what so ever!!! Anyone please:-(

Yeah, check motor mounts first, then transmission mounts.

Bad Compressor bogs down engine and stalls

That is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. every car does this. See when you turn on your AC your engine has to drive it via accessory pulley, this takes some of the engines power to run so it will seem to have less power or hesitate when the AC is running. hope that help explain that.

What done to fix it? If the throttle body was not cleaned, it is time to do this now.

The throttle body needs to be cleaned, grime in this area prevents the throttle plate from closing completely and allowing air to enter, making the air/fuel mixture lean.

no resister on this car. the a/c comtrole is a module. comtrol the blower. frist check the connetor for the blower. if is ok replace the controler. price for $ 200.00 call the deler

your problem seems very easy :) hope this one work with your envoy. Just buy AC DELCO carburetor tune-up conditioner.

How you use it: engine running , AC off please

1. detached the big black airflow hose which is attached in the mannifold of the engine block.

2. ask your friend to step on the gas pedal and set the rpm steady in 2000 rpm only.

3. then spray vigorously in 8 seconds the inside circle opening of mannifold while your friend steady step on gas pedal with steady 2000 RPM only.

4. after you spray, let your freind continue on gas pedal with 2000 rpm for 15 more seconds.

5. attached back the airflow big black hose to the manifold and you are ready to roll with your AC on.
