2005 Mustang wont start or crank from the key.. wont say nothing good battery ..... all I hear is clicking noise my radio and lights and everything comes on but it will not do nothing what couldthis be have I blown something?
More than likely that is EXACTLY what it is, something has fallen into the Hollow of the Door and you NEED to found out what is it. Since it has started and not a new Car with a NEW Issue, you need to not only discover what is causing it but also what Broke inside the door.. Prolonged not finding out what it is could cause your window to break, the Lock/Handle to be inop and a few other things... Clip not a big deal, Nut or Bolt, moreso
Doubtful. I'd recommend a good locksmith to come pop the lock for you fron the window channel. If you know what to look for, just roll down the window, find the lock linkage, and pop the lock yourself.
go to the under the dashboard or to side the drive door they have small cover and you will see the name for each fuse. or go www.automecanico.com or www.youfixcars.com and try.
As for the manual locks the door handles on vws are known for either coming apart or breaking very easily. You need to take the door panels off and see if the lock came apart or broke, the linkage to the manual locks is bent or maybe a clip came off,or broke.
There is a control module in each door with connectors. I have already had one where the wiring in the connector was bad. This takes some troubleshooting, but sometimes moving things around while trying to run the windows will should you where the loose connection is.
if you are hearing clicking noise but the door won't open then the door lock actuator is not releasing the lock. not uncommon problem ,but the car is still new. most of the time this type of problem starts after 5or6 years. I hope your car is still under warranty.
The sound you are hearing is a built-in solenoid inside of the door latch itself, the part to replace will be the door latch or all latches that are making the noise.
