SOURCE: 2002 hyundai accent codes p1529 and p0734

P1529 means nothing more than the TCM (transmission control module) has requested that the ECM (engine control module) turn on the check engine lamp.
P0734 basically indicates that your transmission is slipping.
You need to take this car to an authorized repair center for hyundai cars. Replacing the filter and fluid on the transmission might save this transmission but I would be willing to bet that a total transmission rebuild is in order.

SOURCE: my 2005 hyundai accent wont shift out of park

on most cars when u step on the brake pedal youll hear a "click" near the center console which is the shift solenoid releasing the "lock" on the floor shifter allowing the shifter to come out of park.check to make sure all the fuses are good and check the brake lite switch(es) and wiringfrom brake lite switch to shifter solenoid.a wiring diagram always helps.

SOURCE: I have 2001 hyundai accent won't shift into o/d everytime.

Did the 'Check Engine' Light come ON? Whenever the 'CHECK ENGINE' light comes on, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) sets a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). These codes identify the particular engine management system which caused the light to come on.
You'll need to use/find an OBDII (On-Board Diagnostic) Scanner to retrieve any code which have been stored in the ECU computer. Afterward, we might be able to help you DIAGNOSE and perhaps eventually fix the problem.

U will need to have the transmission rebuilt, once OD starts to slip that is it for the transmission

2001 hyundai accent overdrive button

The overdrive will only come into use when the transmission module reads the correct revs/ road speed ratio. Switch if off for heavy city traffic driving to improve economy when it moves up and down all the time. No it will not harm the transmission otherwise.

My overdrive quit working

If it shift until the point of overdrive but then does not shift after that but revs up, the overdrive is probably broke and not applying. Some ****** shops will test drive for free and tell you the possibilities.

You may have a problem with the speed sensor or the OD solenoid, you will need the dealer to scan the Transmission control module for fault codes.

How do turn off overdrive on a 2001 hyundai santa fe if its not on the gear stick?

Does your gearshift have four gear positions? If it does, then 4th gear is overdrive. To leave overdrive, simply shift to 3rd gear.
