take the cover off the top and it will be a pain in the rear, 3 up front you cannot see and 3 in the back you cannot see.....might take it to a professional, or a trusted someone
the front three are easy, you will have to disconect the engine strut mount and tilt the engine forward to get at the rear three, this is all done by feel at this point
yes only one fan is supposed to work, the other fan is for ur a/c. it shouldent be to hard to tighten down that spark plug if its loose. that wud cause some problems though if it was loose
go the cheapest route. replace fuel filter and add SEAFOAM to tank of premiun fuel. replace filter before 500 miles. then add SEAFOAM to gas every 3000 miles to keep lines.engine, fuel pump, and emissions systems clean, ETHANOL problem number 3000
sounds like you have a severe vacuum leak, causing a lean condition. The car runs for a short period because of the rich mixture the computer provides for cold start-up.
Replace plugs and wires at the same time and this will fix it. It is not a transmission problem. Common customer problem at a dealership I worked at. Carbon tracking on plugs and wires will cause this , so replace both at the same time to fix.
It could be neither, If your engine is getting too hot, it can be in the cooling system, like the water pump, radiator, belt and the like, or engine timing may be off, and so forth. You even may have low coolant or a head gasket problem or cracked head, depending on the diagnostics. Just changing the spark plugs by themselves will not make the engine run hot, and while you can have ign module, etc failure when the engine is at normal operating temperatures, they by themselves should not make the engine run hot. Hope this helps you, Rick
Cylinder number 5 is misfiring. Check spark plug, spark plug wire and ignition coil for the number 5 cylinder. The number 5 cylinder is the closest to the front of the car on the drivers side. With engine running in dark (at night) take a spray bottle of water and lightly mist spark plug wires and coil and look for arcing. Autozone will test coil for free.
