I had this happen in my old dodge stratus. My trick to remove cd's was when you stopped or parked the car turn vehicle off and hit the eject button and it will usually eject the disc. remove all discs and then install them again when car is parked and not moving as vibration and bumps while driving can sometimes miss align the disc in the player. Sometimes when the stereo didn't work at all I disconnected the battery and it would reset and work. If this doesn't work it may be broken. Good Luck.

There could be a fuse you are missing. I don't know your model well enough to say, but some have a separate fuse under the dash.

Stock CD player in my 1997 ford expedition will not eject.

You will have to pull the player and send it out for repair, the consumer can't buy parts or get the tech books required to fix it, only a Ford electronics authorized repair station has these things.

HU 850 CD stuck in player

One thing about Volvo CD player/changers...they tend to not like burned CDs and even more, burned CDs with labels on them.

I'd suggest against trying to get it out yourself.

You can get it replaced and the dealership should have a form so you can get your CDs sent back.
