I have a 1994 bmw 540i i just recently replaced the throttle postion sensor on it . i need to know how to reset the main computer and for how long

On a bmw 2000 540i im only getting 2500 rpm out of motor with full throttle n a code of p1637 p0100 where do i start checking please advise me as what this relates to.

code p 0100 refers to mass air flow (MAF) sensor /volume air flow (VAF) sensor--circuit malfunction=== causes --wiring ---MAF/VAF sensor ---ECM
code p1637 refers to throttle valve position control---control deviation===causes---wiring ---

take it to an accredited service shop with experience on your vehicle and discuss which would be the most likely unit to be faulty or replace the lot if you have cash to splash

Can I reset the crash alarm geber on 1994 540i-sedan bmw

Hi this will be a NO you cannot reset it, the crash alarm geber is a relay, my advice would be just to replace the relay as they are relatively cheap on ebay, you haven't explained why you think its the geber that needs a reset? what is actually wrong with your car

if you did the job mechanically yourself, then erasing the code needs done by someone with that type of equipment..usually the parts store or dealer..

I need to know where the throttle postion sensor is on a 1994 Chevy corsica.

TPS located on lower end of throttle shaft. Two bolts holding it in place - three wire connector attached to top.

Bmw 540i fuel pump

You must check to see if you have power at the fuel pump relay which is probable in a fuse box under the hood.
