Sounds like a cold start issue. could be a few things.could be something as simple as your spark plugs needing to be cleaned, or your air filter is dirty and clogging your air intake to your engine. could also be your battery and/or your starter is starting to go out. if cleaning the spark plugs and air filter doesn't resolve the issue, i'd ask your local auto parts store if they can test your battery and starter, then pull the battery and starter from the vehicle and get them tested cold. If they come back with any problem you you should either repair them or replace them at that point.

2003 Ford Expedition 4.6L hesitance

Could be a number of things. Tune up, fuel injectors, coils, fuel filtration, vacuum system, compression. Inexpensive thing to do is take it to Advanced Auto, PepBoys or any parts store and ask them to check the codes. Most places won't charge you. Otherwise you need to take it to Ford Dealership to run diagnosis.

Start hesitating while driving especially when it starts running

Sounds like a misfire, may need a tune up, the average life of a platinum spark plug is about 70,000 miles.Expeditions also have individual coils for each plug, this also could be a problem, if the tune doesn`t fix it autozone can scan it for free and tell you which coil it is.Hope this helps you.
