The maintenance service indicator notifies the driver when the next service is due. Approximately one month before the maintenance service is due, the type of maintenance is indicated in the speedometer display. If one large wrench is shown, a minor service (A) is due. Conversely, if two small wrenches are shown, a major service (B) is due. The value shown in the display may reflect the calculated distance (in miles) or time (in days) remaining. When the maintenance service term has been exceeded, this value is preceded by a "-" (minus symbol).
