Your question depends on the particular components you wish to remove.
The clutch on the AC compressor consists of several components, The HUB, the PULLY, and the Field Coil (electromatic field induction coil) which activates/energizes the clutch). The HUB is easily removed w/a 8mm socket (counter-clockwise). There's a small washer inside the spline of the hub (you don't want to lose it!) Now, depending on the problem you wish to correct, you may have to recover the refrigerant currently contained in the AC system (you'll need to determine a way you can do this yourself - usually by using an AC (Robin Air) Refrigerant Recovery Station.
If the problem is the Hub & Pully, then you'll have to remove the compressor in order to PRESS OFF the pully. If the problem is the Field Coil, the same procedure applies with an addition step of PRESSING OFF the magnetic clutch coil and PRESSING ON a new one.
