Our 02 Hyundai Santa Fe has had the door open light on for years. The battery never seemed to be affected. But yesterday started by having the battery light go on. Then it died while driving. We jumped it and it kept dying while we were driving. We put in a new battery and it will still only start with a jump and dies as soon as we disconnect it. It died so bad the first time that even the door locks would not work. now they work but the car only clicks when we turn the key.

Does the vehicle light up when u hit the buttons? If not check battery's or you might have to reset the fob
