Trying to locate fuel pump relay location on the fuse panel under the passenger side dash. I changed the fuel pump and the truck is still running rough. I changed the fuel filter as well. The roughness is at idle and the truck runs semi well after the initial take off.

Hi,
Your fuel pump relay would be in the fuse box under the hood. I doubt if that would be a problem. If your car starts, it is engaging. All it does is dend electricity to the fuel pump for it to turn on. If your car starts, it is obviously turning on. Running rough can come from several causes. Clogged air filter, vaccuum leak either in the lines, boot connections or intake manifold(s), faulty IAC sensor, faulty MAP sensor, faulty TPS sensor, bad plugs, bad plug wires, bad catalytic converter...etc....You should check your computer for codes that may be stored to help further diagnose the cause.....MIke

Your problem is not the fuel pump relay, a relay is just a switch it is either on or off so if the pump is working then the relay is working, i can look up the location for you but i need to know the year, make & model. i think your running problem is more likely a bad spark plug or spark plug wire or ignation coil, again if you give me the year , make, model, engine size i can look up some specific test for you car. also check for trouble codes and let me know what they are and i will look them up as well.

Where is the fuel pump relay and fuse for a 1992 corvette.

You have to take off the passenger side knee bolster for the relay. From the trans tunnel to the door- Fog lamp relay-Courtesy Lamp Relay----Fuel Pump #1 Relay-Horn Relay-Rear Defogger Relay. Fuse is located in the Main Fuse Block Located on the right side of the dash (small panel pops off the far right side) passenger door needs to be open to do this. The fuse is labeled FP 1 and is the furthest fuse left on the second row from the bottom Red 10 amp. Fuel pump is located under the fuel door in the back of the car- you just need to take the door off and you can check for voltages or even replace the pump from there- no need to drop the tank or anything .

The fuel pump relay is located underneath the dash, driver's side, up behind the metal panel (behind the plastic kick panel). It is NOT plugged into the fuse panel.

Where is my fuel pump fuse located? i try to start my car all it does is crank and crank but doesn't kick over. i've already changed my fuel filter.

The fuel pump fuse located under the hood, behind the passenger side headlight. There SHOULD be a bank of 2-8 relays, with some fuses. One of those fuses (in a plastic protection carrier) is for the fuel pump. Its under the hood, passenger side, front of engine, passenger side of radiator, mounted on the relay panel(4or5 boxs)look for a long black thing and pull down on it,a #15 fuse.----------`- Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Looking for location of fuel pump relay switch on a 1994 Honda Accord LX

Hi!!

Check for a 15A Fuse labeled FUEL PUMP on the cabin Fuse Box located in the front seating area, driver side, under dash, behind kick panel.

The diagram shows the Main PCM relay controlling the Fuel Pump, but it wont hurt to check the cabin fuse box under hood, passenger side, rear side of strut tower, mounted in fuse/relay box on firewall
Don't forget to rate this post, Good Luck!!!

Were is fuel pump relay located

The fuel pump relay (square/silver looking part) is located right above the fuse box panel under the driver's side dash. Go under the driver's side and you will see two squares. It'll be the one that is higher up

Wwher is the fuel pump relay fuse located?

there are two fuse locations, under the dash by your left foot, and under the hood behind the passenger side headlight.

Your question is really NOT that easy to answer, there is no stock location for a "fuel pump relay" fuse, the fuel pump is powered by power coming from the MFI relay.

Fuse #1 under the hood supports the MFI relay as do fuses 1 and 12 under the dash. Check all three.

There are reasons a fuel pump won't start that are not related to the fuse... if you check them and determine that the fuses are not blown, with the ignition turned to the on position, try powering the fuel pump test jack, if your fuel pump comes on, it is something else (probably a bad cam/crank sensor)

To power the test jack, run a test wire from the positive terminal of the battery to the connector stuffed down behind the passenger side strut tower between the strut tower and the fire wall. It should be a black connector connected to a single black wire with a BLUE stripe. There will be three connectors bundled together, a black one, a blue one, and a round brown one (the round one is for setting timing and the blue is for setting idle, do NOT mess with them)

When you power the test connector, the fuel pump should come on, regardless of the MFI relay or the fuses... if it does not, you need a new fuel pump.

Cheers,
Scott

Fuel pump on my 1987 ford ranger has no power

There is a Fuel Pump relay. Not sure if Ford has a Relay Box under the Hood though. There are also Fuses that Control some items of the Fuel System. Try the Relays first and see what you have.
