Rear AC dosnt blow in the back of van. is there another blower motor in the rear besides the one in the front?

If you open the back door on the van, to the left in the 1998 van there is a panel with the air compressor behind it. there is a blower motor for the rear of the van vent system behind that compressor panel. in the 1998 van there is a clip that plugs in and can become loose causing the blower to not come on.

Sounds as if you have more than one problem. If the rear is blowing hot then the AC is not working. The front should also blow hot if the front fan motor is functioning.Youi need to have the system pressures tested for proper freon levels and have the front blower motor system tested if it is not working

HELP!! I have a 2005 infinity qx56 the rear ac isn't blowing but the front one is. What should I do?????

Could possibly be the rear blower motor unit and/or rear blower motor resistor, if it is separate from the rear blower motor unit.

Seeing the age of this question, was this the issue? Or, was it something else?

The rear blower works in the rear but not in the frount. The rear is still getting heat & Ac but not the front.

This might be a blower motor, there are 2 of this van 1 for the rear and 1 for the front. I would check all your fuses, in the cab. also it may be a blower motor resistor not sure if it uses the same one as the back blower. lastly your blower motor switch could have a problem. good luck

Ac will work for rear but not front will not blow

Check fuses and/or blower motor. Try tapping on blower motor while key on. Listen for squealing sound. If it squeals, it may be blower motor is no good. (Front and back a/c has two different motors and controls.)

Blower fan on a/c quit blowing in front but still blows and blows cold air in back

first off make sure you have no blown fuse. but front blower motor may be bad. if it does not work in any speedyou can check for power at the wires going to the blower. under dash on passenger side

If your ac controls still operate the rear blower, but not the front, then you most likely need a Ac amp. It's like a blower motor resistor. I would have it checked to verify.
