You may have a bad switch (Ford calls it a brake shift interlock not sure the exact term Honda uses) but check all your fuses. Below I gave you a picture and instructions on how to bypass the interlock switch until you can get the repair done or replace the bad fuse. I hope this helps and good luck.

Hi, this could be a couple of possible problems, the shifter is broke, the shifter cable is bad, or the transmission has a problem keeping the shifter from moving. The easiest way to test it would be to remove the shifter cable from the transmission and see if the shifter will then move, if it does you would know the problem is in the transmission. If it does not move the shifter would need to be taken apart to see if a problem could be identified.
