One way to find out which is the brakelight fuse us with the car turn off. have an assistant depress the bake pedal then releasing it. While they do that use a volmeter with one lead to the ground while the other end pokes the top of the fuse with the metallic part. The fuse the gets 12volt reading when the brake is depressed is the brake light fuse. When the brakes are released, the 12volt should not be present.

My power windows in my 1994 honda civic shuttle aren't working and i cant read the fuse box diagram its in japanese

Ocome on you can't read japanese . But secersly the sticker is probiably on back words . You have an older vehicle and likely a connection issue the doors get water in then over the years and the contacts corrode loose good contact . Motors draw a lot of AMPS witch one gave you the problem first its a 20 amp fuse mabey 30 that powers it so look at the fuse box its something big mabey a braker . I don't have a schametic for this but start at the main control switch on the drivers door you can use a simple curicut tester to see if you have 12 volts from the fuse box going to the drivers door control or the control at the door switch hot to ground this should tell you a lot. The problem is with a connection that can be unpluged and repluged in you need to find witch one it is . Look at the power supply and the main door switch on the drivers door its a big fuse a bracker or a connection i dought its a motor problem but find the power it will tell the turth

Brake lights don't come on. checked fuse box,

look up above your brake pedal and you will see the switch.. It will either between the firewall and the pedal arm (switch moves in when you brake).. Or it will be between the pedal arm and the dash (switch moves out when you brake)

POSSIBLE PROBLEM WITH BRAKE LIGHTS. MAY NEED TO CHANGE THE FUSE, A JAPANESE IMPORT TOYOTA ETIMA EMINA. COULD YOU TELL ME WHERE THE PARTICULAR FUSE IS. I THINK THEY ARE MAINLY UNDER THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT,...

Almost all fuse box in a vehicle is located on the left panel under the dash. It would have a plastic cover which should be esy to pop off. Sometimes it has a screw in lock. A blown fuse is usually easy to spot. If you find it, replace it with the same amp rating. brake lights usually are 15-20 amps

All brake lights suddenly stopped working changed bulbs park light fuse and cant find any blown fuses what else can it be

brake switch on the pedal bad.bad relay. do you have a second fuse box if so check it. look at the wiring see if it is frayed or chafed check the connections.check all the fuses not just the ones labeled brakes.switch the relay with one that you know is good like turn signal and see if the turn signal works then check brakes.use a 12 volt test light check the brake switch and probe the wires. hope this helped if not write back and i'll give you more ideas.
