did it work correctly before now??? (the other shoe drops)sigh.
some vans have 2 sliding doors and wired oddly on some

It may be the starter motor contacts which are worn. I have done this twice (on 2 different estima's myself. The starter will not turn or not properly. New contacts for these Denso starters are available on ebay from nipponnev for about £10 delivered and take about 1 hour to fit. No need to buy another starter. Hope this helps. Regards, Paul
