Your rear doors have a child proof safety lock above the lock linkage, there is a turn knob, open the door from the outside and adjust, then the door will open from the inside now.

There are several possible causes for a rear sliding door that won't open on a Ford Grand C-Max, including a malfunctioning latch, a broken cable, or a damaged handle. Here are some steps you can try to open the door:
Try using the interior or exterior handle: If the handle feels loose or doesn't move smoothly, it could indicate a problem with the latch or cable. If the handle feels normal but the door won't open, move on to step 2.
Check the child lock: Make sure the child lock on the door is not engaged, as this can prevent the door from opening from the inside. The child lock is usually located on the edge of the door, near the latch.
Use the key fob: Press the unlock button on your key fob to see if the door will unlock and open. If it doesn't, move on to step 4.
Check the fuse: Look for the fuse box on your Ford Grand C-Max and locate the fuse for the power sliding door. Check the fuse to see if it's blown, and replace it if necessary.
Try manually unlocking the door: If all else fails, you can try manually unlocking the door by removing the door panel and accessing the latch mechanism. This can be a complicated process, so it may be best to take the vehicle to a professional mechanic or Ford dealer for assistance.
Overall, if you are not familiar with automotive repairs, it may be best to take the vehicle to a mechanic or Ford dealer to diagnose and repair the issue.

98 Ford Explorer Door Problems- how to open without panel removal. inwinblades .... HELLO panel removal??? door won't open... Been searching all ... ok this better work on all doors, im aboutt o try this on my rear passenger door. .... I didn't care about the plastic door handle so i just "busted" it to pieces.
Most often is a bent or worn-out linkage between the handle(s) and the release. Try locating the linkage and forcing it with a screwdriver or plier. Once you get it to open you can re-adjust them somewhat. I had to replace the outside handles mine due to excessive wear.
Many Ford Escapes have power door locks as standard equipment. This system consists of a lock switch, lock actuator and wiring harness. When you depress the lock switch, it sends an electronic signal through the harness to the actuator. The actuator moves an internal piston that either pulls the actuator hook down or pushes it up. The actuator hook connects to the lock rod, which either locks or unlocks the door, depending on which way you push the lock button. While this system won't work with a dead battery, the mechanical lock system remains unaffected by electrical power loss.
Insert the door lock key into the driver's door lock.
Turn the key counterclockwise one quarter turn.
Pull the door handle up until the Escape's door opens. Once the driver door is open, simply open the remaining doors by pulling the interior door handles until the doors open.
please rate as solved if this is what you need. You will need to borrow a heavy duty riveter from autozone or wherever you buy the lock cylinder from.
