sounds like the pass-lock sensor is shutting the injectors off. if vehicle is trying to run but shuts off quickly and not stumbling like your running out of gas then most likely not fuel pressure problem but a security issue with the key or sensor.

simple the computer signals the injecters with negetive voltage approx.3 volts

Park the Camaro on a flat, level surface and set the parking brake. Open the hood and secure it in place with the hood prop. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Open the gas tank to relieve pressure on the fuel lines.

Remove the sight shield from the fuel injector with a socket wrench. Loosen the screws on the hose clamps and disconnect the fuel lines connected to the injectors. Keep a rag handy to catch any fuel that leaks.

Disconnect the vacuum hose and ignition coil wire, then unplug the electrical connectors. Remove the fuel injector mounting bolts, undo the retaining clips and remove the fuel injectors.

Put a thin coat of engine oil on the new fuel injector's O-ring. Place the O-ring in position, install the new fuel injectors and secure the retaining clips. Install the mounting bolts with a torque wrench set at seven pounds.

Plug the electrical connectors back into the fuel injectors. Reconnect the vacuum hose and ignition coil wire. Connect the fuel lines and tighten the hose clamps with a screwdriver to secure them in place. Bolt the sight shield in place with a socket wrench.

Place the gas cap back on. Reconnect the negative battery cable

You can generally remove all injectors with the fuel rail as a unit. Just unplug them from the wiring harness and pull up the fuel rail. The injectors are just pushed in with o-rings.

Using a multimeter check the wiring for power at the pump and at the relay. It sounds like a bad relay.

Check your fuel pressure regulator. Remove the vacuum line attached to it and hook a fuel pressure gauge to the schrader valve on the fuel input line. The gauge should read at least 40 PSI, probably closer to 50-60 or more.

If it's lower than that, you're not getting enough fuel to the engine. It may also be stuck shut, meaning that you're putting in too much fuel.

If you find that the exhaust smells of fuel after cranking for awhile, there's a good chance that you're flooding out due to a faulty FPR.

sounds like the injector got stuck close because of sitting so long....take em out and cleasn them up real good an try that it should work make ensure the wires have a good solid connection and no bent pins.

How does it start after sitting for several days? If she fires right-up I'd say the fuel injectors require replacement. Next ime you try to start it and it won't pull several spark plugs. If they appear wet with gas that would be from leaking fuel injectors. When you try to start it you may breath some new air in to the cylinders causing the gas to evaporate off and 30 minutes later she'll fire up for you. If it is caused from leaking injectors (flooding) Try starting it with the accelerator to to the floor and hold it to the floor. Try starting it for 3-5 seconds and the wait 10-15 seconds but keep your foot to the floor (doing this at start-up fuel flow to the injectors) try this several times. Caution though: As it begins to start remove your foot fom the accelerator to avoid over rev-ing the engine. If this is the cause replace your injectors.

here is the answer,follow these steps one by one please: (1)relieve fuel pressure by using a fuel pressure gauge that also has a bleeder valve on it (2)disconnect the negative battery terminal (3)remove the intake manifold service cover (4)remove air intact duct between the air cleaner housing and the throttle body gasket.also remove the throttle body spacer bolts,remove the spacer and remove thegasket.discard the old gaskets. (5)Disconnect the fuel supply and return lines from the fuel rail. 960Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator. (6)Remove the nut that attaches the fuel rail end-point bracket retainer. (7)Disconnect the electrical connectors form all 8 fuel injectors and set the fuel injector harness aside. (8)Remove the fuel rail mounting bolts. (9)Remove the fuel rail and the fuel injectors as a single assembly. (10)Remove the fuel injectors one by one,by flipping up the U-clip retainer then pulling the injector from the fuel rail. (11)Remove the old O-rings from the injectors and be sure to use new ones when installing the new injectors. (12)Also use a new gasket when installing the spacer,also use a new throttle body gasket.>>when finished start car and check for leaks.and you're done.
