There is a couple of things that this could be but the most often is the idle control valve.....the idle control valve is located under the throttle body where the black hose from the air filter box goes to...it has a vac. hose and two small coolant hoses and a electrical connector going to it....you can take a long extension and tap on it while someone is in the car trying to keep it running and see if that will let it idle again...sometimes you have to do this several times and tap on it kinda hard but not hard enough to break it.....if this will make it idle again then sometimes you can clean the throttle body and spray inside the hole that goes to the idle control valve that is located inside the throttle body on the bottom.also you can take the throttle body off and then take the idle control valve off and clean it and this is the way i do them....been toyota and lexus tech. for 25 yrs and if i can assist you in any other way please let me know......let me and fixya know if i was able to assist you and a thumbs up would help me know how i am doing...........thanks and good luck and also if you need any further help try to give me more info.........
