My 2002 Alero wont start and the security light stay on. ive tried turning the key on, waiting 10 minutes, turning the key off, and then starting it but nothing happens. nothing is working. what should i do?

Since you've tried the 10 minute relearn process with no luck, Try this same process 3 x in a row without trying to start in between. Will take a little over a half hour. If this still does not work, and the security light is solid (not flashing) this indicates a bad TDM. (passlock security computer)(Theft Deterrent Module). A new one will cost about 700 bucks.
