I have an Isuzu diesel 1986 It starts easily but cuts out after 10-15mins. and I have to bleed the system to get it started again. There is fuel and the filters have been changed.

There's a leak in the fuel system somewhere. As it's an older model, it could be a corroded steel line, or a degraded seal or hose. If there' any sign of fuel at any pojnt on those, check there first.

My 1991 lumina will start but after abont 15 to 20min of driving it just cuts off and i have to wait about 15mins for it to start agin but it will cut off agin not even 5min later

i suggest you look at ignition module mounted under coil pack and also crank sensor.

235k miles. cut off one time going down road, immediately restarted. a week later after cutting off would not restart in 8 long cranks. 5 mins later cranked. next morning after starting 2 different time...

I have seen crank sensors go and leave no codes, but, likely the fuel pump is going away...they get hot and seize, then cool down and work again. I would not replace either without proper testing only because parts are expensive and there are other heat sensitive components in there. (coil etc) Be aware that it will check out good if it is running right while tests are being done.

i think you have a fuel pressure problem on your fuel rail get them to do a fuel pressure check most ford dealers can not do this so find yourself reputable diesel specailist

U may find that the negative battery cable has worn and it needs replacing. Check from battery down to the car cassie. That happened to me on my Nissan.

Check the fuel pump to see if it has an ejector and make sure it is not clogged and check for a secondary filter to make sure it is not clogged also.

Start by checking the fuel pressure. Then the glow plug system. This is most likely a problem either with low fuel pressure to the injectors, or the glow plug are cooling down a bit and not getting the proper temperature to the cylinders.

Definitely check the glow plugs.

Gopi, I really don't see how the tranny fluid level has anything to do with how the engine runs.
