2008 jeep patriot. Driver door latch sensor needs replacing according to dealer. When door is shut, the on dash indicator still shows door as ajar/open, which keep interior light on, even when parked without key in ignition. Even if doors are locked during driving, car is trying to engage locks for all doors.

the blower motor is located under the dash on the passenger side of the dash.a bracket with 1 screw and 3 other screws hold the motor in the heater box. remove them amd the electrical connector and the motor an be removed

It is pretty easy if you have a few tools and know how to use them.

1-You need to pry off the trim bezel. There are just snaps holding it on, but be careful you do not pull too hard or scratch it. Use a plastic stick or small srewdriver covered with tape.

2-There will be 4 bolts at each corner of the radio to remove.

3-Pull out the radio and and remove all the connectors and the AM/FM antenna plug.

4-Reconnect your new radio and repeat steps 2 and 1.

I did this same upgrade on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it worked without the need for a theft code.
