Sprinter vibration My 2003 - 140/2500 has a very bad vibration when lifting the foot from the accelerator to stop on a red light. If the trans id placed in neutral vibration stops. Driveshafts, bearing, differential seem to be fine. Does anyone have a sugestion? Thanks

Bad coupling on driveshaft

sounds like a universal joint problem the clue is the increasing rattle/vibration upon accelerating.have your mechanic put the vehicle up on the lift and check the universal joints. I personally don't feel that Hyundai has gotten their standard of reliability to the level of lets say Honda,Toyota,or Nissan.Granted the newer ones have a lot of warranty (And they need it)My recommendation would be if it is doable is to trade it in on a newer Hyundai or switch to a more reliable brand of vehicle. I have consistently purchased Toyotas and they are very reliable to upwards of three-hundred thousand miles given routine maintenance. I hope this was helpful? good luck

were the motor & trans mounts checked?

Was motor still running. If you move to N and back to drive trans may not kick in if moving slow you need to stop. Next I reground motor by adding cable from battery ground back to motor mount bolt. The frame cable may be bad. Next time see if battery ground post is hot. If so reground. You may need a new valve body OEM. not a rebuild from transmission shop.
O this is not Transmission. They told me to many time same thing. Still same Transmission .

I would check engine mounts-see if you stand in front of the vehicle while idling and you blip the throttle if you observe significant engine movement. Do this again by having someone sit in the driver seat with foot firmly on the brake, and car in drive, blip throttle again-if you get a lot of movement, inspect the mounts.

How many miles on your Durango? This could be a failing U joint on either driveshaft. Could also be a ties out of balance or going bad.

Since the vibration goes away when coasting, I am voting for a driveline issue.

If it's coming from under the car, the most common problem is the heat shields on the exhaust system

that code is a torque convertor code. the vibration is coming from the trans. the trans pump could be going bad sending the vibration to torque convertor and ampflying the vibration.

Sounds like it's what they refer to as torgue converter shutter or rumble strips. I had trans oil changed as per service tech suggestion and it work.
