I brought my toyota camry to phil toyota dealer and complain that the light of abs is on including the emergency brake light and they told me that i have to replace the abs actuator and has to import it from u.s.a. and repair manual should be supplied to them because they don't have repair manual for this kind of car. how can i get a free abs actuator repair manual for my toyota camry hybrid 2007 model?

When I had that problem with the emergency light it was the sensor for emergency brake
The abs and brakes sounds like you are loosing pressure in the system

The fuse for the ABS in a 2002 Highlander is in the black plastic covered box under the hood. If you take the fuse out, the ABS warning light and the emergency brake warning light will illuminate on your dashboard. The brakes will work as if you never had ABS, and the car will chime when you first start off if the emergency brakes are on.

If you disconnect the wire(s) coming from the switch, does the light say on? If so, there may be a short to ground fro the switch to the lamp. You would need to replace or have the wire replaced.

if this happend after a brake line change then there is air in the lines still, if not you need to get the abs codes and find out wich sensor is not reading correctly, also check all four abs toner wheels behind the brakes for rust build up stuck to the sensors and toner wheels

There is a possibility that the rotors are warped and need either turned or need new ones. If ABS is acting up it could effect the pedal movement too but usually more drastic movement. Only other way to know is have a good mechanic run the scanner checking brakes on the run.

Remove the abs plugs and dry out connections, and replace.Remove the battery wires before you do this.
